4. Payment Terms

- A deposit may be required before work begins.

- Progress payments may be required for larger projects.

- Full payment is due upon completion unless otherwise agreed in writing.

- Late payments may incur interest and/or debt recovery costs.

5. Project Conditions

- The client must provide clear access to the work site.

- Delays caused by weather, site access, or unforeseen ground conditions are outside our control.

- Any underground services (e.g. pipes, cables) must be disclosed prior to work commencing.

6. Variations & Changes

Any changes to the agreed scope of work must be approved and may result in:

- Adjusted pricing

- Revised timelines

All variations will be communicated clearly before proceeding.

7. Warranties & Workmanship

We take pride in delivering high-quality landscaping work.

- Workmanship is guaranteed for a reasonable period, depending on the service provided.

- Natural products such as turf and plants are subject to environmental conditions and proper care.

- We are not responsible for damage caused by lack of maintenance, extreme weather, or misuse.

8. Maintenance Responsibility

Once work is completed, ongoing care becomes the responsibility of the client.

- New lawns require correct watering, mowing, and fertilising to establish successfully.

- Irrigation systems must be operated correctly and maintained.

- Plants and landscaping features require appropriate care based on seasonal conditions.

Failure to maintain the installed work properly may void any workmanship guarantees.

9. Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by New Zealand law:

- Pro Turf Landscaping is not liable for indirect or consequential loss.

- Our liability is limited to the value of the services provided.

- We are not responsible for pre-existing site issues or hidden conditions.

10. Force Majeure

Pro Turf Landscaping is not liable for delays or failure to perform due to events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to:

- Labour shortages

In such cases, timelines may be extended without penalty.
